Staff Analysis

Description: The proposal is for a Site Development Plan administrative modification to allow for construction of an approximately 1,500 square foot municipal pump station located at the west end of the Siena Reservoir within the Anthem Community Park. The project is a necessary piece of Broomfield infrastructure and will serve to pump raw water from Siena Reservoir to Glasser Reservoir and the municipal Water Treatment Facility to service city residents.

The proposed pump station location is consistent with the original Planned Unit Development Plan approvals for the area and the request will require a site development plan amendment in order to establish site specific details such as architecture, trail realignment, landscaping, emergency access and architecture. At this time the provided documents are conceptual and further details will be provided with the formal project submittal.

For more detailed information on the project please view the Capital Improvements Program project webpage available here
