The City and County of Broomfield is excited to develop the new County Commons Teen Space, a dedicated outdoor area designed to give local teens a unique place to gather, relax and engage. Funded by proceeds from the Denver Broncos Stadium sale, this project aims to create a safe, inclusive environment for teens that combines recreation, social spaces and study areas. The proposed teen space is located directly west of the County Commons dog park

Project Overview

Located near the County Commons dog park, the County Commons Teen Space will be designed with direct input from local teens and community members to ensure it meets the needs of its future users. With over a half million dollar budget, the project will feature comfortable hangout zones, shaded seating areas, study spaces with charging stations and traditional recreational equipment like swings and sports areas—all tailored to appeal to teens and foster a welcoming environment. This project is guided by the City and County of Broomfield, with construction targeted to begin in 2025.
