  • Comfortable seating, shaded areas, and lighting for evening use were identified as top priorities for the space’s design.

  • Parents and neighborhood residents emphasized the importance of safety, oversight and cleanliness to ensure the space remains welcoming and well-maintained.

  • Community members highlighted the importance of addressing traffic and noise in nearby neighborhoods, leading to thoughtful planning to reduce potential impacts.

  • Many respondents recognized the potential of the Teen Space to provide a positive outlet for teens and foster a stronger sense of community.
