Project Summary:

In an effort to consolidate the number of boards, commissions and committees, the City and county of Broomfield is proposing to disband the Broadlands Golf Course Advisory Board in early to mid 2022. The Golf Course Advisory Board is currently responsible for reviewing public responses to operations, golf fees, golf policies, and related matters. This advisory role will be absorbed by the Parks, Recreation, and Senior Services Advisory Committee (PRSSAC).

The existing PUD documents and associated agreements make several references to the Golf Course Committee and management duties of the course. In coordination with the Parks, Recreation, and Senior Services department, the Planning Division has prepared a PUD text amendment to remove all references of the Golf Course Committee from the Broadlands PUD and associated documents.

Please Note: There is no development or physical changes to the golf course included in this amendment.

The text amendment will be heard at two public hearings, one with the Land Use Review Commission and one with City Council. The dates of these meetings can be found located at the top right-hand corner of this page. Public notice shall be provided to all property owners within 1,000 feet of the gold course and public comments may be provided via the forum at the bottom of this page.
