About Broomfield Voice
Broomfield Voice is your place to engage with City and County of Broomfield (CCOB) projects. You can share ideas, provide input, find the latest project updates and make your voice heard!
Community participation is critical to the decision-making process for projects that benefit the Broomfield community. Public input, combined with data and an understanding of available resources, drive more sustainable decisions. To make it easier for the community to provide input on projects, CCOB launched Broomfield Voice in 2018.
Providing Your Feedback
Broomfield Voice is the CCOB’s official online engagement platform. Projects on the site are seeking community input in order to make more community-focused outcomes and decisions. At the bottom of each project page, you can engage with at least one of the nine tools:
- Survey: Share your experiences, thoughts and opinions
- Quick Poll: Share your thoughts in a one-question poll
- Forum: Provide comments and engage in community discussions
- Places: Drop pins on a map and answer questions
- Ideas: Share your ideas on a brainstorming board
- Stories: Post photos and share your personal experiences with the topic
- Guestbook: Write general comments you have about the project
- Questions: Ask your questions to CCOB staff in a public Q&A feed
- Newsfeed: Find the latest project updates
What is Public Engagement?
Public engagement is a two-way relationship between CCOB and the community that encourages two-way dialogue, collaboration and decision-making. It involves hearing the community’s experiences and ideas, strengthening relationships, promoting transparency and achieving more sustainable outcomes and decisions. On every Broomfield Voice page, you will find a Public Engagement section that describes how you can participate in the project, and how your feedback will be used.
Finding Your Project
On the homepage of Broomfield Voice, you can use the project finder to search for a project by name, tag (topic), year or status (published/archived).
Only projects seeking community input are posted on Broomfield Voice. For information about a project that doesn’t include community feedback, like a construction maintenance project, visit Broomfield.org.
