    Furloughed workers and their immediate family are invited to attend an upcoming event at the Audi: Classical Pianist Mark Valenti on March 6, and the gallery reception for American Impressionist Cheryl St. John and showing of Loving Vincent will be March 9. (link)

    Human Services

    Emergency Financial Assistance - for individuals that have been furloughed and are in need of financial assistance (rent, car payment, water bill, energy bills, daycare, etc.) can contact Sharon Farrell 720.887.2257. Please call first to ensure that all necessary documents are in hand before coming in (current federal work ID, email or other correspondence from the government detailing your furlough information, and proof of residency in Broomfield County). For those workers that are paid retroactively, we do require repayment of monies to replenish the fund for future needs in the community. (link)

    Free printing services for those needing to communicate and/or work with their financial institutions etc. (link)
    Most of the library's services are free, and staff can work with folks on printing costs as needed. 

    Property Tax Payments

    Individuals that don't pay their property tax via an escrow account through their mortgage company can contact our Revenue Manager, Kim Pfeifer at 303.464.5810, for additional information on making alternative plans. (link)

    Recreation

    Furloughed workers and their immediate family are invited to free admittance to the Paul Derda Recreation Center. Monthly pass holders can show their furlough letter to have their monthly fee waived. (link)

    Broomfield Community Foundation

    The Broomfield Community Foundation is Broomfield's leading partner, resource, and voice for philanthropy for over 20 years, amplifying the power of many to create greater impact for all. The Foundation has distributed over $2.5 million back into the local community, funding over 100 area nonprofits and awarding over $190,000 in scholarships.
