The proposed Use by Special Review would allow the addition of a Drive Through ATM in the southeast side of the Walmart parking lot at 4651 w 121st Ave. The site is in an Urban Renewal Area and is subject to the West 120th Avenue Corridor Sub-Area Plan, which identifies drive-throughs as a use requiring approval by special review.
A drive-through ATM is considered an accessory use to the Walmart and is permitted by the I-2 zoning for the property.

The proposed use is consistent with the I-2 zoning and the surrounding commercial land uses.
Key Issue
The proposed ATM includes approximately 46.5 square feet of signage. The Broomfield Sign Code would allow an accessory use, such as this ATM, a maximum of 25 square feet of signage. The applicant is requesting a variance from the sign code in order to include the amount of signage indicated.
