What is the creative economy? Just as creativity is emerging as a defining characteristic of 21st century economies and learning models, the creative economy places value on imaginative qualities throughout the business economy and the entire community. Broomfield is an expanding community with a strong economy and high quality of life.  Growing the creative economy increases the overall vitality of Broomfield and increases quality of life for residents.

This initiative aims to support Broomfield’s creative economy through:

  • Development through creativity and innovation
  • Involves creative industries and the community
  • Cross-sector collaboration between business, government, arts & culture, STEAM fields, education and the community

Throughout 2021, project development updates and pilot programs will be featured for community review. Your input is valued and we welcome ideas, thoughts and questions to guide program design to best support the creative economy in Broomfield!
